Poetry Reading Contest traditionally was held in the library on December, 4. “Read from your heart” was not only the name of the contest but also the main criterion, which was taken into account by the judges. Students of 7-12 grades read their favorite poems and recited their own ones in three languages. The best were rewarded with diplomas in different nominations. Read more

Reading man

Within the Decade of Social subjects librarians organized a “Reading Man” event. Students were offered to answer questions or accomplish tasks, which were connected with Geography, History, Economics or Law. Read more

Bookmarks Exchange 2018

Our students who earlier had participated in the project ISLM Bookmarks Exchange 2018, recived the bookmarks from students of the Smk Tunku Abdul Rahman Putraschool. The students from Malasiya drew their national symbols, the country's flag and wrote warm wishes. Read more

In order of translation the experience of Nazarbayev Intellectual schools, in school library an hour of reading according to the book "Educational Shock", "How to Form the Culture of Thinking at Lessons at Elementary School" was held for librarians of pilot and comprehensive schools of the Pavlodar region and the city. On November 25 Myrzhakyp Dulatov - a Kazakh poet, writer, one of the leaders of Alash Party and a participant of national liberation movement in Kazakhstan – was born. This date inspired librarians and teachers of Kazakh literature to organize an integrated lesson, dedicated to the life and literary works of the writer. Read more

В феврале и марте 2014 года для учащихся 9 – 11 классов прошла серия библиотечных уроков в виде интеллектуальной игры-викторины «Своя игра», проводимой на английском языке. «A POET AND A SAGE TOGETHER IN HIM MELDED!» (Ivan Andreyevich Krylov's 245th Anniversary)

Ivan Andreyevich Krylov was born on February 13, 1769 into the family of an officer and spent his childhood years in the Urals and in Tver. The head of the family died early — in 1778 — having left a widow with two children to take care of. The family was constantly in need, and Krylov started working when a teenager yet. In 1782 he moved to Petersburg with his mother. He was systematically engaged in self-education: studied literature, Italian and French languages, and mathematics. Soon he took a post in the Petersburg state chamber. Read more

«My days have been a dream» (205th anniversary of Edgar Allan Poe)

On January 19, 1809, Edgar Allan Poe was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Poe's father and mother, both professional actors, died before the poet was three and John and Frances Allan raised him as a foster child in Richmond, Virginia. John Allan, a prosperous tobacco exporter, sent Poe to the best boarding schools and later to the University of Virginia, where Poe excelled academically. Read more
